National literacy club celebration at Govt sen sec school Sakri


               

National literacy club


The Government Senior Secondary School Sakri celebrated a function " National Literacy Club " ahead of Lok Sabha election in its School campus as directed by Election Commissions of India , This function  was celebrated in the 1st week of January 2019.  


This function was  organised under the guidance of  Lecturer in political science Mrs Bandana Rana .The following activities were done in the school.


Role of electoral literacy club


An Electoral Literacy Club is a platform to engage school students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitise them on their electoral rights and familiarise them with the electoral process of registration and voting. (Electoral Literacy Club ) ELCs are also present in colleges and rural communities. 




At Electoral Literacy Club learning meets fun. Activities and Games are designed to stimulate and motivate students provoking them to think and ask questions. Through ELC, Election Commission of India, aims at strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters.

Following will be the member of electoral literacy club 

School  : students of   class 9th to + 2 , age 14 to 17 years 
 College : Students of 18 to 21 year 
Rural   communities  (Chunav Pathshala ) all members of the village

The role of the club will also include making students understand the constitutional, legislative and legal provisions, technological innovation, and role of the Election Commission, courts, media and other stakeholders in the poll process.


Taking Oath 


All the students and teachers of Government Senior Secondary School Sakri took oath  to cast their votes considering candidate' elegibielig and and social service and ignoring candidate's cast, creed , religion  and region and bribe  


.  The Oath was read by the student Pankaj Katoch of + 2 class.
Then  principal of the school Mr Sanjay Bhardwaj told the students about the importance of democracy and each voat  for forming democatic  government for the people, by the people and  to the people .

And then all the students  were distributed fruits to celebrate this occasion .

Inter house competition at GSSS SAKRI


Bag Free day celebration

As per the directions of Govt of Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of 4th Saturday Bag free day inter house competition between the different houses of Government Senior Secondary School Sakri was organised in the campus of Govt sen sec school Sakri Teh Baijnath Distt  kangra H P .None of the students has brought it's bag for the purpose of study.

  In the morning session from 9 30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the campus beautification and cleanliness  were done.

Inter house volleyball competition


In the morning session at 10 a. m. 1st volleyball  match between House Yamuna and  house Ravi was was played. This match was won by House Yamuna. Then 2nd second match between house Ganga and Vyas was played and this  match was won by house Ganga.


After that final match between house Ganga and house Yamuna was played and this final match was won by House Ganga.


Inter house Group song competition


And in the evening session after recess at  1 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., inter house group song competition was organised. the theme of this Inter house group song  competition  was patriotic songs.

Very first performance was from Ganga house. Gangs house sung a patriot song " Dharti Sunehri  Amber neela " Then Yamuna house gave a very nice presentation followed by Ravi house. And concluding song was from Vyas house .

The Judges of the Inter house Group song competition were Sh Jagdev Rana And Sh Padam Singh . Both the judges said performance of  all the four teams was very good and almost equal to each other . But we had to select two best teams .



The Ravi house was given 1st prise followed by Vyas house ,who got second Position in this Inter house Group song competition.

Rehearsal of Youth parliament


At 2 pm the rehearsal of youth parliament was organised . The zonal level youth parliament competition shall be organised at Govt Sen Sec School Sansai Teh Baijnath of  distt kangra H P on dated 29th May 2019.

1st of all youth Member of Parliament took pledge ,then Many questions were asked by  opposition's youth membrs of Parliament . Ruling youth parliamentarian responded their very beautifully .
The questions asked by members of youth parliaments were on different topics such as education,unemployment, health scheme, prices rise of essential commodities etc .

De worming day celebration at GSSS SAKRI

Different Activities in GSSS SAKRI

Today on dated 1st May 2019 , Deworming day was celebrated in Govt Sen Sec School Sakri Distt Kangra HP.
The Govt Sen Sec School Sakri distt Kangra H P celebrated Deworming day as per the directions of Education and Health  department. All the students were given a Tablet of Albendazole at 1 pm immediately after recess .

The volunteers of National  Service Scheme ( N S S ) helped  the students by providing drinking water under the guidance of NSS Programme Officers Sh Vishal Chauhan and Smt Neelam Katoch .
Sh Sanjay Prasar  Lect in Biology and in charge of Iron And Folic Acid And  Albendazol Tablets. He also told the benefits of this Tablets to students.

Principal of the school Sh Sanjeev Kumar was also present at this occasion.
